The name

habile, adj.

From the Latin habilis: fit, apt, able. Skilled with the hand; deft at the specific thing in front of you. First recorded in English around 1470. Said HAB-ile.

The name is the principle we live by.

  • We do few things, and do them well.
  • When the fit isn't right, we say no. When we say yes, we're all in.
  • We do a job well for its own sake.

Jase Berry

Jase founded Habile Capital in 2025. His experience includes over a decade leading the systems integration of multi-billion-dollar complex infrastructure projects in the energy, transport and defence sectors.

He holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School, and is an experienced operator and board adviser.
